YouTube is going to announce more ways for channel owners to generate their revenue directly from viewers.

These new opportunities have been announced for content creators on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at VidCon’s 10th anniversary.

Super Stickers

After the successful launching of Super Chats last year, YouTube is introducing Super Stickers.

YouTube channel’s fans will allow purchasing animated stickers during live streams and Premieres. These new stickers will have a variety of designs, languages, and categories.

Super Chats

It allows viewers to buy messages within a live chat during live streams and Premieres to stand out.

YouTube says,

“There are now over 90,000 channels who have received Super Chats, with some streams earning more than $400 per minute. And Super Chat is now the number one revenue stream on YouTube for nearly 20,000 channels – an increase of over 65% over last year.”

Channel Membership Levels

Previously, YouTube introduced Channel Membership which allows viewers to pay $4.99 monthly fee to get unique badges, new emojis, exclusive live streams, and extra videos.

Now, they are going to introduce the most demanding feature “Channel Membership Levels”. There will five different pricing levels for Channel Membership.

New Merch Partners

Merch shelf with Teespring allows channel owners to sell merch to their viewers.

They are adding five more merch partners Crowdmade, DFTBA, Fanjoy, Represent, and Rooster Teeth.

Thousands of Channels Doubled their Revenue

YouTube says,

“Today, these products are generating meaningful results to creators across the globe. In fact, thousands of channels have more than doubled their total YouTube revenue by using these new tools in addition to advertising.”
